Samuel had been reluctant to watch her go. Hestia would be lying if she said she was happy to leave her brother behind, but that still didn't stop her from going. They'd been preparing for this for a while now - the year that Tia still went to Hogwarts and Sam had to stay behind after his graduation. Even though she'd known it was coming, that didn't make it much easier. Samuel, though two and a half years older than her, was the best big brother anyone could ask for, and it would be strange to not be able to run to him whenever she needed him in the castle. He was overprotective, and she could tell he was unsettled as he hugged her goodbye. But neither of them said anything as he bade her goodbye and she turned to board the train. Tia didn't look back. She never did.
It was rather crowded, as usual, and the short witch pushed her way through the crowds of people toward the back of the train. So far, she wasn't seeing anyone she knew, and so she was hoping to find a compartment to herself. Tia knew that Lily would be with James in the Head's compartment (doing Merlin knows what) and her other mates would be scattered around miscellaneously. With that in mind, the Scottish witch headed to the very last compartment, pulled the door open, and stepped inside, letting it shut behind her. Since she was relatively tiny, she left her trunk near the window and flopped down onto the velvet seat, kicking her feet up to rest on the trunk.
The whistle sounded, and the train slowly started to tug into motion - Tia felt her heart leap slightly in anticipation. Brother or no brother, she was going back to Hogwarts and that was exciting for her. Already, she could feel the need to keep busy, so she reached into her duffle and pulled out a Rubix cube. Well... it was something to do, considering she hadn't yet seen a familiar face. As her blue eyes concentrated on the puzzle before her, she barely took notice when the compartment door slid open once more. "There's plenty of room in here." she said politely, hurrying to complete the puzzle before looking up to see who was joining her.

"Sirius, your shirt," Belinda Rogers murmured to him as she clambered into her blouse. Sirius paused with his jacket partially on and stared blankly at his shirt. "Blimey," he hissed, tearing off the jacket and snatching the shirt out of the her hands. She rolled her eyes at him as he hurried to pull the shirt on, ruffling his strewn black locks in a haste to get out of the train station janitor's closet before the Hogwart's Express left the station.
"Can we continue this later," Belinda asked, raking her manicured fingertips through her bouncy blonde hair. Sirius kicked one legs up onto a dusty cabinet and, lifting his head to look at the girl, winked. "We'll see doll," he said offhandedly. She could only pout, but she looked pleased all the same.
"You're such a player," she quipped, reaching out to him. He could tell where this friendly embrace was heading and he couldn't afford to get in over his head again. Not when they had less than three minutes to get aboard the train. He dodged her advances for the most part, pecking her on the cheek to show that he was still interested, but not right at that moment. He would definitely be keeping in touch with her once they reached Hogwarts though. There were only so many girls at this school who were willing to lift their skirts at any given moment and he was feeling particularly antsy this year.
Clothes reasonably put together, he stepped out of the closet into the stream of passerbyers on their way to other places in Britain though he saw the occasional student on their way to platform nine and three quarters.
As skillfully as a convict on the run, he merged with them, and grabbing his cart which he'd left by a trash bin, waited until the coast was clear and stepped through the barrier onto the platform.
The steam engine roared before him, billows of grey white smoke issuing from the smoke stack above. He took that sight in one final time for this would be the last train ride he ever took to the castle. A shame he wouldn't be sitting alongside his friends for this trip--James and Lily were probably already in the Head Boy and girl compartment and Remus and Alice were off doing prefect duties he presumed. He was left to his own devices having been pulled away as soon as he'd entered the station by Belinda. Nothing like a good rump in a broom closet to get the juices flowing.
He quickly boarded the train, calling greetings to those people he recognized and even some he didn't. They all looked wide eyed at him as he passed, some of the younger girls seemed to swoon at the sight of him. Nothing out of the ordinary really.
He neared the back of the train and finally found a compartment that wasn't filled with wandering eyes and suggestive glances.
He slid the door open and stepped in.
"There's plenty of room in here."
"Yes, well it's full now that my enlarged ego has arrived," he said playfully making fun of himself. He shut the door behind himself and pulled out his wand. With a flick his bags rose from the floor and stashed themselves overhead.
Taking a seat at the girl's side, he watched her silently, cocking a brow at the amount of immense concentration she was giving a colorful cube. He chuckled. "Enjoying yourself," he said. He leaned over and their shoulders touched. That's how close he'd sat to her. To him there were no personal boundaries, no personal space in which to not cross. Pulling a grape lollipop out of his back pocket, he readjusted his position on the seat, kicking his legs up like the girl, though on the seat across from them.
He opened the candy, licked it and though realizing he should have offered her one first, held it out and smiled. "Want some?" he said grinning mischievously. He knew he was being a prat, but he'd promised himself he'd start early this year. It was his last year after all!

When Hestia looked up from her puzzle, it was to find a rather handsome looking guy standing in the doorway. Something tugged in the back of her mind, he looked familiar, but who was he? Tia wasn't exactly the best as putting faces and names together. Had she dated him or hooked up with him? Eh, probably not... she would've remembered if she had. Unless, of course, she'd been wasted... in which case that would explain why he looked a little familiar. Nonetheless, the small witch flashed a pretty smile as he sat down, talking about his ego. "We should hang a sign on the door so other people know that it's full, then." she said lightly, before turning her attention back to the Rubix cube.
He sat down next to her, then, close enough that their shoulders were touching. Oh, so he was that type of guy. Eh, she could flirt back just as well. Tia wasn't really one to get too attached. Life was supposed to be taken easily, not too seriously. Sex was sex, right? And love, if you believed in that, was love, as hate was hate. It didn't really matter to her. He asked her a question and, with a quick twist of her left hand, she completed the cube and held it out for him to see. "I was, but I'm finished now." She really, really, needed to find something besides Quidditch that could take the edge off of her high energy.
Hestia quirked an eyebrow as he pulled out the candy, licked it once before offering it to her. Never one to appear meek, she lifted a pale hand and took it from him, popping it into her mouth. After sucking on it for a moment, she handed it back to him and smiled warmly. "Thanks." she said with a wide grin, before holding out her hand for him to shake. "Hestia Jones. But I think I know you already... you look familiar, anyway." Maybe he was one of Samuel's friends, but she doubted it.

Sirius chuckled as she went along with his self mockery. That was a good sign. She could take a lighthearted joke and not get offended. He rarely found girls like that, especially in Hogwarts. They were just a bit too uptight for him sometimes and he'd learned at an early age to speak in clear, precise tones with no sarcasm. Perhaps that was the reason he had yet to settle down with anyone. He didn't care much for snobs, liking instead women like this gorgeous girl here.
The grape lollipop dangled between thumb and index finger as he waited for the girl to take the treat. She wouldn't take it. Why would she? He didn't know her and he was sure by the way she looked at him with raised eyebrows that she didn't know who he was, or if she did, she still wouldn't want to suck on a piece of candy he'd just put his mouth on.
But she took it from him and not only licked it, but sucked it like it was the most delicious candy she'd ever eaten. That antsy feeling he'd felt earlier came back to him full swing. The flush to his cheeks, the overwhelming tightening of his groin and that tingle down there that felt like volts of live electricity shook his frame, making him lightheaded. Head spinning, his mouth dropped slightly open in shot. He'd never been more aroused by something to seemingly innocent in his life.
Now this was his sort of woman.
"Thanks."
"You..are...welcome," he said emphasizing each word. He took the lollipop back. It shone now, coated in her essence and when he put it back to his lips and tasted her he could have died a happy man right then and there.
He took her hand when she offered it, shaking it firmly whilee smiling around the lollipop perched between his lips.
"Sirius Black," he said raising a brow. So she didn't know who he was. Interesting. Well now they were on name to name basis. Time to take their relationship to that next level.
"Do you give all guys this treatment or am I special?" He said leaning a bit closer to her side. He stretched and put his arm around her shoulders, giving her one of his signature smiles as he pulled her close. Crossing the personal space line again, yet he couldn't contemplate keeping his distance after that arousing display. She had pulled his mind too far in the gutter for that.

Hestia didn't miss his reaction to her. Though she had to admit she was a little surprised (but not really). She hadn't exactly done it on purpose... she wasn't like that. On some level she was aware what she'd been doing, but it wasn't front and center in her mind. Hestia was subtle like that. If she really, really wanted to seduce someone, she'd do it, but she wasn't the type of girl that went jumping all over guys just because they were attractive. And this guy certainly was, she wouldn't deny that. Still, she couldn't help but grin at him somewhat slightly as she gaged his reaction. "You look rather flustered," she commented. "Is something up?" she asked lightly, innocently. Whether or not her words had a double meaning, the world would never know.
His grip was strong, and she could tell just from the brief hold that he was well built. And the ease with which he was coming onto her suggested that he was a seasoned professional in this type of thing. Not to mention the way his clothes and hair were ruffled... He was definitely a player. Tia herself had been called that on a few different occasions, but they were obviously very different. Tia had no goals when it came to sex - she wasn't trying to set a record or get as many attractive flings under her belt as she could. It was just one of those things that she did if there was chemistry, and she was actually decent friends with most of the guys she hooked up with. Nonetheless, her high energy was starting to eat at her and one of the ways she could blow off some steam was to have some fantastical sex, but... Eh, she wasn't that easy. So, with a warm smile, she nodded. "Nice to meet you, Sirius Black. And you can call me Tia."
His arm went around her, and, on pure instinct, she shifted closer so she was tucked into his side. She hadn't changed for school; she was clad now in her dark navy practice jersey (reading JONES, CHASER, #17 in bright silver lettering on the back) and a pair of grey drawstring sweatpants that she’d obtained for practice, as well. Her dark curly hair was pulled up in a ponytail, with a few curly tendrils framing her face. A somewhat laid-back look, but she liked to think she pulled it off nicely. "Nah, you're lucky." she assured him with a grin and a wink. "You get special privileges because you brought me candy." With that, she reached up and pulled the lollipop from his mouth, before sticking it back between her lips and grinning up at him. "So," she said, around the candy. "What about you? You seem like a pro at this. Plus, you smell like sex. And your shirt is on backward."
